Voluntary Trainee
Soon a new group of young people, coronaproof, will start their Voluntary Traineeship in 9 different regions. This is a project where young people can do different types of volunteer work. Daphne Hegge (18) from 's-Gravenzande participated in an earlier edition and is happy to share her experiences.

Daphne is in her first year of Social Work training. "The Voluntary Traineeship is a good way to find out which target groups I like to work with. My education is very broad. Through the Voluntary Traineeship I was able to sniff around different parts of the work area to find out where my interests lie For example, Daphne has volunteered with people with intellectual disabilities in Het Westerhonk. "What I liked most was that I met young people in Het Westerhonk and really got to know them. I had a small glimpse into their lives and I think that very interesting, so I won't forget that," concludes an enthusiastic Daphne.

As a trainee, you will voluntarily work for about four hours a week for six months at three different organizations of your choice in your region. A new group of young people will start in Zwijndrecht in October. They will work, of course coronaproof, at various organizations. They do something good for someone else, meet new people, take fun courses and build their resume. Are you between 16 and 27 years old and do you also want to participate in the Voluntary Traineeship?
